What to bring on a sailboat in the summer - the baggage of the minimum ecological sailor
Some say that it takes very little for the baggage of the sailboat: a swimsuit, two at most, a couple of shirts (one is the one you have on him), a pair of long pants if it's fresh, pair of shorts, caps, sunglasses, a sweatshirt and a k-way. A towel, a sleeping bag on the bed (but this is optional), necessaire close to the bone (so all those anti-wrinkle creams, cellulite, do not use them antipancia at home, imagine a boat!). In theory, the luggage could end here. Less than 3kg, in soft pouch or bag (you would be the joy of the skipper). If you want to exaggerate wear a dress or a skirt evening (for the gentlemen a shirt and a pair of long pants), a pareo, swim fins and mask, a scarf.
And then there's the drama of his shoes. Given that the boat shoes are not worn at all (unless they be sailing in a regatta, in the middle of winter and a few other occasions) and that those who travel by boat for a week and shows off his new, beautiful boat shoes with the soles white, is a bit 'funny, limit yourself to a pair of sneakers or sandals to go ashore and a pair of slippers for the showers in the Navy. The rest is really unnecessary.
And if in doubt, take a trip to a bookstore and buy yourself the Vela Little Blue Book, a mini manual, never to be unprepared for your first vacation in a sailboat.
